1. In July 2014, FAMCOHSEF was chosen by the Philippine Star in #28StoriesOfGiving, a campaign that turned the spotlight on 28 inspiring stories of people and organizations who devote their lives to helping themselves or others. FAMCOHSEF’s story, written by Camille Diola, is entitled “Teaching a Handful to Make Thousands Better”

On August 30,2014, Nannie Gonzalez with Yolanda Guevarra, a graduate of FAMCOHSEF’s Nutrition and Care of children and the Elderly Program receive the prize from Philippine Star’s officers.

2. Presentation in Madrid on September 25,2014

FAMCOHSEF was invited to present its health training programs during the International Meeting Alvaro del Portillo 40
Social Initiatives against Poverty (40 Iniciativas Contra la Pobreza – Encuentro Internacional Alvaro del Portillo) in Madrid on the occasion of the Beatification of Bishop Alvaro.
